Snapping a losing streak of the last two sessions, the BSE Sensex on Thursday regained 320.70 pts to close at 81,633.02 on the strength of Realty, Metal, and BSE Services stocks amid positive European and Asian markets.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 81.15 pts to 24,833.60
The NSE registered a days high at 24,892.60 and a day's low at 24,677.30 pts.
Despite high volatility, the equity market bounced back and closed in green today.
