Minister Tummala Reviews Khammam Development Projects — Sets Deadlines for Completion

Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, Cooperation, Handlooms & Textiles, Tummala Nageswara Rao, reviewed key development works in Khammam, including the Munneru Retaining Wall, Cable Bridge, and Khilla Ropeway projects He stressed the need to accelerate progress and complete works within the stipulated timelines to prevent hardships to citizens.

The Minister said the Munneru Retaining Wall, taken up with an outlay of Rs. 690 crore along 17 km, must be completed by June next year. Of this, 6.4 km has already been completed. He directed officials to speed up land acquisition and ensure works proceed simultaneously on both sides of the river to avoid a repeat of flood damages.
