KLSR Infratech Under Cloud: BRS Questions Govt's ‘Undue Favour' to Firm Facing Insolvency Cases

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has launched a sharp attack on the Telangana Congress government, alleging that it has shown “unusual and questionable patronage” to KLSR Infratech — a company currently facing insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings.

BRS chief spokesperson Manne Krishank on Sunday accused the government of awarding contracts worth hundreds of crores to the firm despite serious legal clouds, including an ongoing case admitted by the Supreme Court on November 14, 2025.

Krishank said the controversy deepened after a National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) judge recused himself from hearing a case related to KLSR Infratech, stating that he was being pressured to issue a favourable order. “This development has triggered nationwide concern, and even the Supreme Court has taken the matter very seriously,” he pointed out.
