A new Gram Panchayat building was built at a cost of Rs 20 lakh in Kisan Nagar village in Balkonda mandal. A village hospital was built at a cost of Rs 20 lakh in Mupkal mandal center. MLA Prashanth Reddy inaugurated the works of the village hospital building in Palem village in Mortad mandal.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that all the above works were sanctioned and completed during the tenure of the previous KCR government. During the tenure of the previous government, KCR had taken the foresight to sanction village panchayat buildings through the NREGS scheme wherever there were no village panchayat buildings. It happened..During the 10 years of KCR government, more than 65 new village panchayat buildings were constructed in Balkonda constituency. All of them are providing good governance to the people, the MLA said.
