Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday marked with grand prayers, call for compassion in Dharamshala

The 90th birthday of Tibetan spiritual leader, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, was celebrated with solemn long-life prayers and deep spiritual fervour at the Tsuglagkhang, the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamshala.

The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) led the ceremony, invoking blessings for the continued health and guidance of the revered leader.
Presided over by Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoché, the ceremony witnessed the participation of prominent Indian leaders, including Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Ladakh CEC Tashi Gyalson and Sikkim Minister Sonam Lama, yesterday.
