On the directive of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, a Medical Tourism Introduction Program will be held for Miss World Contestants at AIG Hospital here on May 16.

Contestants from 120 countries are expected to participate in the Program, with the event to be broadcast in over 150 countries, offering Telangana a massive global platform to showcase its healthcare excellence, an official statement said on Saturday.
It said Telangana is rapidly cementing its position on the global medical tourism map, thanks to world-class healthcare infrastructure, advanced technologies, expert medical professionals, and strong government backing.
Under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, the state has now received special recognition as a global medical tourism hub and is set to take this image worldwide through the upcoming 72nd Miss World event.
