CM Revanth Reddy slams BRS rule, highlights farmers' welfare at Rythu Nestham programme

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy challenged former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to a debate in the Legislative Assembly on key issues, including the sharing of Godavari River water.

Revanth said that if KCR was sincere, he should write to the Speaker to convene a special session, and assured that Minister Sridhar Babu would take responsibility for facilitating the discussion.
Addressing a large gathering at the Rythu Nestham programme held near the Rajiv Gandhi statue opposite the Secretariat on Tuesday evening, Revanth Reddy announced the successful completion of the Rythu Bharosa programme. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to farmers' welfare, stating that 29,000 crore had been deposited into the accounts of farmers within just nine daysfulfilling a key promise made by the Congress party.
Recalling the legacy of YSR, the Chief Minister said that the late leader provided free electricity and transformed agriculture into a festival rather than a burden.
