Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday appealed to RTC workers to withdraw the strike from May 7 and hold talks with the Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) workers' union had recently announced a statewide strike starting May 7, citing the state government's failure to address their longstanding demands.

Participating in the May Day celebrations at Ravindra Bharati here, Revanth Reddy said the RTC has been earning profits and the responsibility to protect the Corporation lies with the workers.
