: In a press meet held at the Retired Employees’ Hall in Mulugu, Sakala Kala JAC President Mr. Muralidhar Reddy strongly advocated that celebrated folk singer Porike Syamala Naik should enter politics, citing his immense contributions to public awareness and cultural heritage.

“Syamala Naik is a treasure of Mulugu. He inspired many with his music during the COVID-19 pandemic, spreading awareness about health and social issues through his songs,” said Muralidhar Reddy. He praised Naik's artistic versatility and social commitment, highlighting his efforts to eradicate superstitions and promote education.Syamala Naik's acting prowess was also lauded.
