A Healthy Society Begins with Dedicated Doctors

Health is the greatest wealth a society can possess, and it is through the committed service of doctors that a community truly thrives, said District Collector Anudeep Durishetty. He was speaking at a special program organized at the District Collectorate to mark National Doctors' Day, held in honor of the exemplary contributions of the medical fraternity.

The Collector remarked that good health is the key to facing life's challenges. "If we are healthy, we can solve a hundred problems. But if we are unwell, that one issue becomes the biggest burden. Wealth, status, and power are of little use without health," he said.

He further added that doctors are the first responders in times of medical emergencies, often working under immense pressure with a sense of purpose and compassion. "They are, in many ways, the visible face of divinity during times of pain and suffering. We must recognize their efforts, especially during critical times like the pandemic and floods."
