THE sight of starving, unarmed civilians in Gaza - shot at while attempting to retrieve food - should shake humanity to its core. Yet what unfolds daily is met not with horror, but with muted acceptance.
Since May this year, more than 1,373 Palestinians seeking humanitarian assistance near distribution points have been killed - many by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) or associated contractors — undermining the very foundations of international humanitarian law.
The Guardian reveals near-daily targeted shootings at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) sites, a militarized aid scheme backed by Israeli authorities.
These atrocities compound a larger strategy of deprivation.
