CAPE Town residents are invited to have their say on a proposed compulsory heavy vehicle stop on Kloof Nek Road, aimed at reducing the alarming rate of truck and lorry accidents.
The City of Cape Town is proposing the compulsory stop, approximately 150m downhill from the pedestrian signal at Tafelberg Road.
The comment period for submissions opened on Monday.
Mayoral committee member for urban mobility Rob Quintas invited residents and stakeholders to join the project team for an information session today from 3pm and 6pm at the Council Chambers in Wale Street.
They will have the opportunity to ask any questions.
