INSPIRING STORY

- GENEVIEVE SERRA

HUMBLE beginnings have shaped Spur franchisee, Imraan Sattar’s life, and he has philanthropy and humanitarianism running through his veins, to the extent that he together with his staff and family, touch people’ lives daily.

When Sattar isn’t cleaning tables or running franchises at Spur Topeka in Kenilworth and Spur California in Westgate Mall (Mitchell’s Plain), he is joining his staff to wash the feet of the elderly at old-age homes in Cape Town; visiting children in need at Heaven's Nest Child Care and Recreation Centre; providing a family in need with a roof over their heads; and providing meals for nurses who work long shifts.

Sattar recently sponsored meals for students attending two workshops supported by Survé Philanthropies.
