County's youngster impress at two-day squash tournament at Comberton

A HUGE weekend of squash unfolded at Comberton Squash Club to open the 2024-25 season for the junior squash community of Cambridgeshire. Two full days of competition brought players from the age of seven to eighteen, from clubs across the county, to contest for the top titles in local squash.

Saturday's play involved the Mixed Under 9, Girls and Boys Under 13, and Boys Under 17 categories. Results after a hard day of squash:

Mixed U9; Runner-Up - Theo Dawson (Comberton SC). Champion ~ Toby Setchell (Hunts County SC).

Girls U13: Runner-Up - Lucy Hilton (Hunts County SC). Champion - Judi Alswaifi (City of Peterborough SC).

Boys U13: Runner-Up - Charlie Southee (Hunts County SC). Champion - Samuel Goodger (Ely SC).
