UK Government's cruel cuts to disability support must be stopped

But instead of offering protection and dignity, the UK Government is now threatening to make deep, damaging cuts to the support available to disabled people — some of the most vulnerable in our communities.

Disabled people are already three times more likely to experience hunger. Yet the UK Government is proposing cuts to Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and other life-lines, putting lives at risk and deepening inequality. These changes, part of a £5 billion reduction in spending, will not improve lives or support recovery — they will make things worse.
