ALES is once again being short- changed this time to the tune of £70 million - and once again, we're seeing no meaningful pushback from those in power.
Yet another financial blow to Welsh public services, and not a whisper of challenge from the Welsh Labour Government.
Instead of standing up for Wales, Labour ministers in Cardiff Bay are acting like passive bystanders, watching this injustice unfold without protest.
The Government hasn't fought for fair compensation, instead dipping into the Welsh reserves a short-term fix that does nothing to address the deeper problem of chronic underfunding.
It’s not just about this £70 million.
