Q1 impairment provisions pull IIFL Fin net down 19%

IIFL Finance Ltd's consolidated net profit declined by 19 per cent on year-on-year (Y-o-Y) basis to ₹274.2 crore for April-June 2025-26 quarter (Q1FY26) on sharp rise in impairment provisions.
The net interest income (NII) shrank by three per cent Y-o-Y to ₹976.5 crore in Q1FY26 from ₹1,005 crore in Q1FY25. However, non-fund based income grew by 74 per cent Y-o-Y to ₹661.4 crore.
The loan losses and provisions, that is impairment on financial instruments, more than doubled to ₹512.46 crore.
