To save on operational costs amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) is implementing a four-day work week for its administration employees.

Following a directive from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for government agencies to tighten their belts, MIAA General Manager Eric Ines issued a memo on March 9, 2026, making the new schedule effective immediately.
