Steeplechase to ride again following a £305k facelift

'FAMILY FRIENDLY SOCIAL HUB' HAS BEEN MODERNISED INSIDE AND OUT
A PUB is set to reopen this Friday after receiving a £305,000 transformation.
The Steeplechase, on Bridge Street in Uttoxeter, is part of Proper Pubs, the wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, which runs more than 220 venues across England, Scotland and Wales.
Behind the bar is Adam Hollinshead, who while new to the town, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to The Steeplechase having spent the last 26 years working in hospitality across Spain and the UK.
He says he is looking forward to building a vibrant, family and dog friendly social hub, where everyone feels welcome.
Speaking as the revamp was taking place, Adam said: "I’m absolutely thrilled with how the refurbishment is progressing and I can't wait to see the final look ahead of welcoming customers back through the doors.
