Fantastic four as Rovers run riot in dominant display

Rovers came back from their midweek defeat in superb style with a dominant performance against Deeping Rangers, hitting them for four goals with no reply.An hour before the kick off the Moat Ground was treated to an absolute deluge, making the surface challenging for both sides, but still they tried to play football and credit to them.

Rovers started well and went close on 14 minutes when Fin Barker was put through, but with the keeper Aaron Butcher advancing his final shot went agonisingly inches wide of the far post.

Two minutes later Barker was not going to be denied this time. His run down the left ended with his curling a shot into the far corner of Butcher's net, leaving the keeper rooted to the spot.
