BRISTOL Rovers Women’s FA Cup campaign came to an end, as they lost 3-1 to Fulham at the Memorial Stadium in the second round.
A pair of own goals and an impressive strike from Ellie Olds gave the visitors a three-goal lead at the break, and despite a goal from the inform Meg Jarvis after halftime, Rovers were unable to find a way back into the tie.
The Cottagers, who are unbeaten in the FA Women’s National League (FAWNL) Division One South East, which is the fourth tier, raced into the lead after only seven minutes.
Olds’ cross from the right wing caused confusion in the hosts’ backline and was deflected in at the near post by a Rovers defender.
