Weston land home FA Cup tie, but Gas face Bromley trip

WESTON-SUPER-MARE missed out on Football League opposition when they were drawn at home to National League side Aldershot Town in the FA Cup first round.

However, Weston, who gave Bristol Rovers a tough game before going down 3-1 in last season's first-round tie at the Memorial Stadium, will no doubt see this as. a reasonable chance to advance to the second round.
At the moment, only seven spaces separate the two teams, with Aldershot 19th in the National League and Weston second in National League South.
Bristol Rovers have been handed an away tie at fellow League Two side Bromley.
Robbie Savage's Forest Green Rovers will visit Jack Wilshere's Luton Town in the first round.
Former Arsenal and England midfielder Wilshere, 33, was named as Matt Bloomfield’s successor at Kenilworth Road on Monday.
Eighth-tier Maldon & Tiptree will travel to League One Port Vale, while 2013 winners Wigan Athletic host Hemel Hempstead Town of the National League South.
