WEPL Robbie's double hundred in vain as Bedminster chase down 319 at Thornbury
Bristol Post
|August 18, 2025
ROBBIE O'Donnell crashed a brilliant unbeaten 207 but still finished on the losing side as Bedminster chased down a target of 319 for a four-wicket win at Thornbury to remain second in Premier One of the West of England Premier League.

The New Zealander faced 152 balls, hammering 25 fours and eight sixes en route to the highest individual score throughout the entire league this summer.
His next highest scoring teammate was Chris Gibson on 22 as O'Donnell totally dominated his side's challenge of 318-7 after winning the toss.
But Bedminster also made excellent use of the conditions to get over the line with seven balls to spare.
Three players - opener Ollie Meadows, captain Matty Brewer and Fahad Sabi - hit 56, while there was also 49 from opener Dylan Church.
Next up for Bedminster is a home derby against Bristol, who are all but safe with two more rounds of games to go following a four-wicket triumph at home to Bath.
