A PRIMARY school headteacher has welcomed the Government's reform of special needs funding but says there is “much more to do” following years of neglect.

Dan Ross, headteacher at Little Stoke Primary School, made the comments following a visit by Filton and Bradley Stoke's Labour MP Claire Hazelgrove.

The visit followed the Government's announcement of a £200million programme to offer special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) training to teachers.
