ORGANISERS of the fledgling Bristol Comedy Festival hope to showcase the city’s claim to be one of the funniest places in the country.

Left, Jayde Adams is well-known as a stand-up, actor and TV presenter. Top, Mark Watson is known for his work on panel shows and radio.
The 17-day fiesta of laughs is set to return for its second outing in January, hoping to build on the success of this year’s debut.
Among the names signed up are established Bristol comics Jayde Adams and Mark Watson, along with critically acclaimed stand-up and podcaster Milo Edwards and breakout winner of So You Think You're Funny Finlay Christie.
Acts will perform at venues including Bristol Folk House, Basement 45, Strange Brew, The Gaffe Comedy Club and St George's Bristol.
