Rugby Randell could be back in contention for Quins showdown

ENGLAND international scrumhalf Harry Randall looks to be winning a race against time to be back from his hamstring injury early and could even feature this weekend at Twickenham when Bristol Bears face Harlequins in the Big Game 17.
After two wins from two in the Champions Cup this month, beating Scarlets 17-16 in Wales and a weakened Pau side 61-12 last weekend at Ashton Gate, the Bears turn their attention back to the league, sitting in fifth place in the standings.
Bristol's long-unavailable list looks set to become much shorter in the coming weeks, with the likes of Randall and Fijian No 8 Bill Mata headlining the returning injured players.
Wales star wing Louis Rees-Zammit and tighthead prop Max Lahiff both had to pull out of the game on Sunday due to tight calves, but director of rugby Pat Lam confirmed they are expected to be back in the selection mix this week, with Harlequins and Newcastle Red Bulls coming up in the Gallagher Prem in two bumper festive fixtures.
