'Peace' for community as court closes flat linked to drug use and disturbances

A KINGSWOOD drug den has been shut down by police.

Officers had repeatedly been called to the flat at Rhian Place in Hanham Road in recent months following reports of antisocial behaviour.
The application for a closure order was granted at Bristol Magistrates’ Court and the flat will be closed for three months with an option to extend this.
As part of their application to the court, police said they were first called to the flat in July and had attended on multiple occasions since due to reports of antisocial behaviour, suspected drug use and drug-dealing.
