THE Jewson Western League podcast recently featured an insightful interview with AEK Boco manager Elliott Gibbons, discussing the club's impressive recent form and their overarching philosophy.

In his first full position as manager, Gibbons is focused on fostering a "unified club" environment where players genuinely care about the badge.
Gibbons champions an "attractive" and "positive" style of attacking football, moving away from a traditional long-ball game. This approach, combined with Boco's status as the local club for many of the players who are a tight-knit group of friends, many having played together previously, makes Boco the "perfect club" for them. Gibbons noted the club also benefits from an "amazing youth system" and a strong bond with the women's team, ensuring it remains a true family club.
