Jewellery shop raid Masked intruders smashed display cases with hammer

THREE men entered a jewellery shop and smashed display cases with a hammer to steal gold jewellery in south Bristol on Friday, December 19.
The incident, at Silver & Steel in East Street, Bedminster, happened shortly before 1pm.
Avon and Somerset Police were called just after 1pm.
Three men smashed display cases with a hammer to take the “unique” jewellery and when staff tried to intervene, they felt threatened by the man who had the hammer.
The three men had their faces covered and hoods up.
They fled on foot towards Mill Lane and Leicester Street, but officers were unable to find them after searching the area.
Silver & Steel posted on Facebook that the pieces of jewellery stolen were gold pieces that were handmade and said that the incident would be a hit for the business financially.
