Thomas Manson was sentenced to four years and nine months for raping a Bristol teenager
A YOUNG woman from Bristol says her life has been held back by the psychological impact of being raped.
Thomas Manson was found guilty by a unanimous jury of raping the 19-year-old, whose identity is being kept anonymous.
The 30-year-old met the teen on a dating app and raped her in May 2022, Avon and Somerset Police said.
She reported the incident to the police and Manson was arrested and charged.
Though Manson, of Crediton in Devon, denied the offence he was found guilty at Bristol Crown Court in October and was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison last week.
