BRISTOL City’s FA Cup fourth-round clash away to Port Vale was postponed on Friday following a pitch inspection.
Gerhard Struber’s side were due to travel to the League One side's ground on Saturday afternoon as they aimed to book their place in the fifth round of the competition for the first time since 2023, when they were beaten by Manchester City at Ashton Gate, under the management of Nigel Pearson.
However, a little under 24 hours before the fourth-round tie was due to get underway, the contest was postponed, with recent weather leaving the Vale Park pitch in an unplayable state.
The fixture will now take place on Tuesday, March 3 (7.45pm).
