Bridge bodies Murder accused says he was threatened and degraded

A MAN accused of murdering two men whose dismembered bodies were found in suitcases told a jury he was blackmailed, racially abused and forced to perform disturbing sex acts by one of the victims.

Yostin Mosquera, 35, said Albert Alfonso, 62, subjected him to humiliating and degrading sex acts and threatened to kill his family if he refused.

Jurors at Woolwich Crown Court have heard Mr Alfonso and Paul Longworth, 71, were decapitated and dismembered at the flat they shared in Shepherd's Bush, west London, before some of their remains were dumped near Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Mosquera admits killing Mr Alfonso but claims it was manslaughter by reason of loss of control.

He denies murdering either man and says Mr Alfonso was responsible for killing Mr Longworth.

Giving evidence on Friday, Mosquera said he had first met Mr Alfonso through webcam sex websites in 2012, and was eventually paid to urinate, defecate and vomit on him - despite never wanting to do so.

He claimed they had continued contact online and later met in person in Colombia in 2022 and 2024.
