Beautiful Diamond looks set to sparkle in Ayr raid
Bristol Post
|September 19, 2025
THE fact Beautiful Diamond remains in training with Karl Burke means she is of interest in the Arran Scottish Sprint EBF Fillies’ Stakes at Ayr.
Burke, who has enjoyed a stellar season and registered three winners at the Irish Champions Festival last weekend, can do little wrong at present.
But Beautiful Diamond's season has not got going, having only been seen once back in May when she was well fancied for the Palace House Stakes but disappointed behind Rumstar.
Something was clearly amiss for her to be off in the interim, however one reason put forward for her lacklustre run was that she would prefer easier ground, so it may simply be connections have been waiting for rain.
Either way, she has shown classy form on fast ground before, such as when third to Crimson Advocate in the 2023 Queen Mary, so she can act on it and she won the Harry Rosebery at this meeting two years ago.
