Basketball Flyers beaten by final shot of the game in thrilling ENBL clash

BRISTOL Flyers suffered defeat with the final shot of the game, as Dutch side Donar Groningen dealt out a heartbreaking 70-69 defeat in ENBL action.

Seventeen points and five rebounds from Will Yoakum led Flyers in the game, with Jonathan Brown continuing his good form with 11 from the bench. Flyers only held the lead for the last minute-and-a-half of the game, with Donar dealing the dagger with seconds left on the clock. It was the visitors who got out to a quicker start, as Dane Erikstrup and Malik Miller combined to give Donar an early 10-4 lead. Further scoring from Eric Taylor and Austin Luke saw them stretch their first quarter lead out to as many as 11 points.
