£2.8m haul City drugs gang jailed after heroin, cocaine and cash find

FIVE members of a Bristol gang have been jailed for almost 54 years after police uncovered millions of pounds of drugs.

Four people were jailed at Bristol Crown Court for drug offences, a fifth has been handed a suspended sentence, and another was sentenced last month.
Three members of the gang, Justin Pearce, aged 45 of no fixed address, Joshua Batt, aged 28 from Whitchurch, and Leah Murphy, aged 44 of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs, namely heroin and cocaine, and class B drugs, namely amphetamine.
Mark Bourne, aged 49 from Horfield, and Mark Glover, aged 48 from Henbury, both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs, namely heroin.
Janet Chard, aged 68 from Knowle West, pleaded guilty to participating in the activities of an organised crime group.
