BOSTON TO GET SLICE OF 'PLAN FOR CHANGE' CASH
BOSTON is among several locations set to benefit from millions of pounds of investment.
The government has announced a £5 billion Pride in Place programme, which will give local people across 339 neighbourhoods the chance to revive their high streets, parks and public spaces.
Towns in Lincolnshire are among the areas set to receive up to £20m from the programme, which was announced at 6pm on Thursday, September 25.
We're investing in Britain's future, by backing the true patriots that build our communities up.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer
As part of the fund, 169 areas, including will receive £2 million every year for a decade. It is hoped this will give long-overlooked communities the certainty and control they need to plan for the future.
