No get out of jail free card for climate crisis
Blackpool Gazette

Prior to the Industrial Revolution, volcanoes were the major source of CO2 in the atmosphere; now we produce 62 times more.
Our sun pours out daily over a quadrillion kilowatt hours, of energy. This is more than the energy contained in all the reserves of coal, oil, natural gas and uranium in the earth's crust.
Today's climate crisis is complex. There is no easy get out of jail free card available.
In any case we are too late to prevent the climate crisis from worsening for sometime, no matter what we do.
One reason for this is that the corporations controlling the world's existing energy infrastructure are fiercely resisting any change by using lies, misinformation, myths and by buying compliant politicians.
