Driver jailed after super car crash at three times speed limit

The driver an £100,00 supercar which was engulfed in a fireball after crashing into a house has been jailed.

Zachary Hocking was driving at an average speed of 91mph in a 30mph zone when he lost control of the McLaren 570gt V8 and ploughed into the property on Heyhouses Lane, in St Annes.
Both he and his passenger, a man in his 20s who was thrown 25m from the wreckage, suffered serious injuries in the crash in December 2023.
