BIRMINGHAM boss Chris Adams says his side could have no complaints following their 60-30 defeat at Premiership title favourites Ipswich.

Witches' spell is too potent for ailing Brummies

The Curtis Sport Brummies won just two races in Suffolk on Thursday night, both provided by Michael Jepsen Jensen in his opening rides.

Birmingham, who had riders struggling with illness, were outclassed by the in-form Witches, who again hit the 60-point mark.

But Adams says they must now focus on Monday's home derby with Leicester.

"It was a tough old night," he said.

"We were struggling with a few sicknesses in the camp and that didn't help really. Ipswich are a strong team and had already had some big wins so we can't have any complaints.

"I was really pleased to see Michael carry on doing what he has been doing the last few meetings, I thought he rode really well. Jonas (Jeppesen) battled all night long and had a pretty steady night.

"The rest of the lads found it tough but this one has gone now and we have to look to the next one where we can hopefully turn things around and do everything we can to put some points on the board."
