They fell on the wrong side of a one goal defeat to Crystal Palace with Evann Guessand’s late winner coming after Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare had missed a penalty and teammate Ladislav Krejci had been sent off.

Edwards said: “The message at halftime was, with the way we were performing, we didn't want to accept a point, we'd only accept all three the way we were playing. So, it’s really frustrating to come out and talk about a defeat.

“I think we were the better team up until the sending-off. Even with ten men, they were pushing and we had to defend long throws and defend the box, but I don’t think [keeper Jose] Sa had too much to do.
