‘Unscrupulous’ landlady banned for three years

MUM ‘HOUNDED' OVER RENT WHICH WASN'T OWED & UNLAWFUL EVICTION

AN “unscrupulous and untrustworthy” landlord who threatened to unlawfully evict a mum and her young baby has agreed to cease business activities for three years.

Aunberin Kawal Saddique, the sole trader and director of Emerald Lettings and Developments Limited, was said to have “hounded” the tenant and acknowledged she’d demanded rent which was not owed.

It was also deemed she had misled the public by failing to include details of the business on official stationery.
