Trio injury doubts for Albion's Robins clash

Jayson Molumby, Alex Mowatt and Krystian Bielik were among the injured players Ryan Mason gave updates on at yesterday morning's press conference while still awaiting news on the outcome of Alfie Gilchrist’s suspension appeal after he was sent off in the 1-0 loss at Hull.

Starting with Bielik, Mason said: “We're still assessing him. He's gone for a scan. But he won't be available.

“We are still waiting on the appeal for Alfie’s red card but we'll be extremely surprised if it isn’t overturned.

We're light. I think that’s quite clear but it is what it is.

“We've got a game on Friday, which is exciting. We need to be ready for it. And then obviously quick turnarounds after that, but that’s to come. The most important thing is training and the preparation for this next one.”
