FOREST GREEN FAVOURITE RECALLED
HIGHLY-RATED prospect Harry Whitwell has been recalled from his loan spell with National League side Forest Green Rovers by West Bromwich Albion.
Whitwell, 20, has impressed everyone during his time with Robbie Savage. New rules mean he could feature for the Baggies in their FA Cup clash with Swansea at the weekend with Alex Mowatt coming off injured at Leicester. It remains to be seen what the rest of the season could look like for him with potential to jump back on loan to a team further up the pyramid.
West Brom confirmed: “Harry Whitwell has returned to Albion from his loan spell with National League side Forest Green Rovers.
“The 20-year-old impressed at The New Lawn, picking up the club’s Player of the Month award in both October and November.
