MANAGER Ryan Mason described Albion's 1-0 Championship win at Stoke as the "perfect away performance".
The unbeaten Baggies made it ten points from a possible 12 to cap off a top start for the new boss going into the international break.
Nat Phillips' first-half goal was enough to send Albion back down the M6 with all three points.
"It was absolutely a deserved win. I thought it was a perfect away performance," said Mason. "We showed so much personality and so much grit, as well as quality.
"We scored a good goal from a set-play and we could have had more from set-plays. We had a few openings as well.
