Reality star hits back at swipe over festive lights

A REALITY TV star has hit back after a council was lambasted for picking her to switch on its Christmas lights this year.

Married at First Sight contestant Sacha Jones will light up her hometown of Walsall on Saturday, November 29.

But she faced a wave of criticism with many people claiming not to know who she is.

The 30-year-old appeared in the 2024 series of the trashy Channel 4 reality show in which producers set up weddings for people who have never met before and then follow their progress.

Walsall’s Christmas festivities will see Sacha will flick the switch alongside a festive makers’ market and live music and dance.
