Man's fatal fall from landmark 'not suspicious'

RESIDENTS have been reacting to a man’s “utterly tragic” death following a fall from The Cube in Birmingham.

Emergency services rushed to the 24-storey building, off Wharfside Street in the city centre, at around 6.30pm on Saturday.

The man died at the scene.

Residents were evacuated and res-taurants and businesses temporarily closed as West Midlands Police probed the incident.

Police said the case would be passed to a Birmingham coroner to examine the non-suspicious death.

The Cube confirmed all venues were open as normal yesterday.
