ENGLAND Under-21s boss Lee Carsley has already spoken to his players about targeting a third successive European Championship victory.
Carsley's side defended their Under-21s European title in June and he hopes to win it again - a feat unprecedented under the tournament's current format - with a new crop of players in Serbia and Albania in 2027.
His squad, who began their qualification campaign with a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan last month, are preparing for tonight's trip to Moldova before they welcome Andorra to Pride Park on Monday.
"I mentioned it (three in a row) in our first meeting. I don't think it's been done before. It's been done with Italy, but it was a different format then," said Carsley.
