ALBANIAN CROOK WANTS TO BE DEPORTED
AN illegal immigrant who was caught manning a £300,000 cannabis factory after sneaking into the UK on a dinghy has been jailed for almost two years.
Albanian national Ali Koka slipped into Britain unlawfully for a ‘better life’ but was busted by police just three days after arriving at the drugs den.
Kola, 34, insisted he had no choice but to water hundreds of cannabis plants inside the property after being locked in by an unknown ‘mastermind’.
He claimed he could not raise the alarm with authorities because he could not speak any English.
But a judge rubbished his claims.
Koka now ‘welcomes’ deportation and wants to be reunited with his family in Albania, Wolverhampton Crown Court heard. He had not claimed asylum and has made no application for leave to remain, the court was told.
