Government inspector in third council overrule

SOLIHULL planners have seen another decision overturned after a government inspector stepped in again.

In April, Thomas Wood applied to the authority for a detached single storey garage at a four-bedroom home in Warwick Road, Knowle.

A design and access statement said: “The current owners have recently refurbished and extended (the home) following their purchase in 2021.

“The property does not have a garage and the owners seek to enhance the property and their enjoyment by adding a detached garage.
