Family pays tribute to mum who 'lit up the room'

THE heartbroken family of a Solihull mum who "lit up every room" before her sudden death are appealing for help with her funeral costs.

Wendy Jones, 64, was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in October and, tragically, just days later, suffered a cardiac arrest after she was hospitalised by a fall.

Husband Richard Jones said the time from diagnosis to his wife's death on November 8 was a "blur" and "happened so fast".

The 60-year-old American, who met Wendy on an AOL online chatroom around 26 years ago when she was living in the States, said she was his "rock".
